Student Success at SHU

Students at Siena Heights have access to ample academic resources, such as tutoring, mentorship, and mental health and spiritual guidance. These resources are only possible because each student has an extensive support network of faculty and staff, including academic advisors, coaches, and campus ministers. By taking advantage of these resources and supports, students are able to move efficiently towards their degree and find employment. Figures are rounded to the nearest whole percentage.

Student Success After SHU

Siena Heights prepares students for successful and fulfilling careers. Within a year of graduation, the vast majority of our alumni are employed or are pursuing further education in graduate or professional school.  In particular, students in Nursing and Education perform exceptionally well on required licensure exams.

The data presented below is from the “First Destination” exit survey. Students from across the country are invited to participate in this survey every year. Approximately 125-200 graduating Siena Heights University students complete this survey each year in their last semester or soon after graduation.

Licensure Pass Rates

Students in our Nursing and Education programs must take required licensure exams at the end of their study in order to be employed in their chosen profession. The pass rates of our students on these exams are shown below.
