Siena Heights University recently honored several faculty and staff members for their years of service to the institution. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 22, at the All-University Forum, which functions as the official kick-off to the academic schoolyear.
There were three faculty and three staff members honored for their service.
Dr. Jean Ann Dean, Dr. James Loughran, and Dr. Julieanna Frost were given service awards for 10, 10, and 20 years of service, respectively. Dr. Dean is one of SHU’s Associate Professors of Nursing. Dr. Loughran is a Professor of Leadership, and Dr. Frost serves as a Professor of History for the institution. These awards were presented by Jonathon Kleinow, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, and the Chair for The Faculty Assembly.
Gina Gudowski was honored for 10 years of service to Siena Heights University, while Jeff Masse and Pam Howard were both honored for 20 years of service after being hired in 2003. Gudowski currently works as SHU’s Associate Director of Corrections Education. Masse serves as the Senior Design Manager for the Marketing and Communications Department, while Howard is the Associate Vice President for Business and Finance. These awards were presented by Melissa Tsuji, the Director of Career Services and Experiential Education, Chair for the Staff Advisory Council.
