Aquinas College agrees to:

  1. All credits of all currently enrolled Siena Heights University students will be accepted toward an equal or comparable degree for the programs listed on Schedule A (the “Programs”) at Aquinas College for purposes of this Teach-Out Agreement. Aquinas College will accept as a transfer 100% of all credits granted or accepted by Siena Heights University and guarantee admission to Aquinas College, provided that the applying students are in good standing at Siena Heights University, and meet the admissions standards of the specific academic program at Aquinas College to which they seek entry.
  2. Aquinas College will waive admissions, application, and residency requirements for qualifying Siena Heights University students. Aquinas College will individually meet with each student to assemble a clear and transparent financial aid package.
  3. Aquinas College will take into consideration in creating the financial aid it will offer, all bona fide financial aid offers, academic scholarships, or other financial aid packages previously awarded or promised to the student by Siena Heights University and such information shall be provided to Aquinas College by Siena Heights University as soon as reasonably practical following the execution of this Agreement.
  4. Whenever possible, Aquinas College will strive to match the percent of aid awarded at Siena Heights University, proportional to Aquinas College awards for the same or similar activities or accomplishments. Aquinas College reserves the right to review and offer packages and athletic scholarships and awards based on its financial aid and athletic packaging model.
  5. Siena Heights University students who transfer to Aquinas College will be treated in an equitable manner and will be provided with academic, administrative, and student support services and assistance to ease their transition from Siena Heights University to Aquinas College. Siena Heights University students who transfer to Aquinas College will have full access to all Aquinas College facilities and will otherwise have the full rights and privileges of all Aquinas College students.
  6. Aquinas College will match Siena Heights University courses to Aquinas College requirements whenever possible, providing reasonable flexibility to support student progress toward a degree and keep them on track for graduation in the same timeframe as would have been the case if they had remained at Siena Heights University.
  7. Aquinas College will offer reasonable accomodations to students who wish to live on campus as cost, capacity and housing style allow.
  8. Aquinas College is open to participation by Siena Heights University students in intercollegiate athletics programs at the discretion of the coaches of each sport, as roster spots and eligibility allow.
  9. Aquinas College will undertake its administrative obligations described herein at no cost to Siena Heights University.

Siena Heights University agrees to:

  1. Promptly provide Aquinas College with a list of potential transfer students as soon as practicable, with the goal of providing this list by November 1, 2025. 
  2. Transmit to Aquinas College all student educational records and all other related information necessary for Aquinas College to comply with its obligations under this Teach-Out Agreement, except for those students who have elected not to consider enrollment at Aquinas College.
  3. Promptly provide Aquinas College with an official copy of the student’s transcript and complete copy of the student’s admissions, academic, conduct, and financial records for all current students electing to transfer to Aquinas College.
  4. Provide all records covered by this agreement to Aquinas College in digitized form which is readily searchable and cataloged by specific academic year or term. These records for transfer students shall be treated in a manner consistent with Aquinas College’s policies for maintaining transfer student records.

Duration:

Students may be admitted at Aquinas College under the terms of this agreement until August 20th, 2027. Thereafter, Siena Heights university students will need to abide by all policies, procedures, and requirements of applicants seeking admission to Aquinas College. For students admitted under the terms of the agreement, it will remain binding until they either graduate or stop out; students who stop out may be readmitted according to the policies, procedures and requirements of Aquinas College.
