The Siena Heights University Department of Music presents a Spring Choral Concert Sunday, April 23 at 5:00pm in the Performing Arts Center’s McLaughlin Music Hall on the Adrian campus.
The concert will feature Franz Schubert’s five-movement Mass in G Major, including vocal solos by SHU Music Majors Avery Nagaj, Tyler D’Hondt, Jacob Dulz, and Nadia Kelham. “This will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only our large ensembles, but also some of our exceptional student solo musicians,” Director of University Choirs Dr. Kelly Ford explained. “After performing this year in Lansing and Chicago, the choirs are looking forward to bringing their music back home.”
The concert will include University Chorale, Chamber Singers, and the SHU Wops. Admission is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the concert will last approximately one hour. For more information, contact Shelley Holly at 517-264-7890 or on Facebook.
