SHU to Host “We Wish SHU a Merry Christmas!”

A joyful evening of music, community, and Christmas spirit—free and open to all.

Adrian, MI — Siena Heights University invites the campus and greater Adrian communities to kick off the holiday season at We Wish SHU a Merry Christmas! (A Holiday Extravaganza) on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the SHU Performing Arts Center. The celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free to all attendees.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the festive spirit and “don your carol apparel” to join the SHU community for the sing-along event of the season. The evening’s concert will feature a spirited lineup of performances from the SHU Jazz Band, University Chorale, Concert Band, and Theatre Siena, showcasing beloved Christmas classics from past and present.

Accompanied by the SHU Concert Band, the evening will include a festive, campus-wide holiday sing-along. All community members—students, faculty, staff, families, and local residents—are welcome to raise their voices together in celebration of the season.

A special highlight of the night will be guest performer Mark DiPietro, who will bring to life Clement Moore’s iconic holiday poem, ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, offering a nostalgic moment for guests of all ages.

Following the concert, attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments in the PAC lobby. Refreshments are provided by the Office of Student Engagement on behalf of the SHU chapter of the National Association for Music Education.
