Siena Heights University’s undergraduate Online Learning Program was ranked first in Michigan and 36th nationally by Plexuss, The Student Opportunity Network.

According to Plexuss, the rankings are based on reputable ranking sources and elements that impact adult students the most.

“We know our Online Learning Program continues the standard of excellence that we expect at Siena Heights,” said SHU President Sister Peg Albert, OP, PhD. “I would like to congratulate our faculty and staff who have worked so hard to build such a quality program.”

With key factors such as graduation rates, new graduate debt, ease of transfer and salary potential, Plexuss’ said its ranking sources take into consideration the most important elements that impact adult students the most. For 2020-21, it has utilized the following sources to come up with the Best Online Colleges:

For colleges or universities to be included in the Plexuss rankings, they must be featured by either U.S. News or Washington Monthly.

Siena Heights has offered online bachelor’s degree completion programs in selected majors since 2004.

“We are pleased to be recognized by Plexuss,” said SHU Dean for Graduate and Professional Programs Dr. Cheri Betz. “This acknowledgment further solidifies the quality, value, and reputation of a Siena education.”

In addition, Siena Heights’ criminal justice program was also ranked fourth in the state of Michigan, according to Plexuss’ rankings.
