What You Get on May 9th 

You will receive only the diploma cover when crossing the platform. The Registrar’s Office will mail diplomas after graduation requirements are complete and obligations to the University have been met. Once all requirements and obligations are met, diplomas will be mailed by the end of May 2026.  

Check Your Name and Mailing Address 

Verify that your name as it will appear on your diploma and mailing address that will be active through June 2026 are up to date in your MySiena account. This must be complete by May 1, 2026. 

If you need corrections/updates, please email the Registrar’s Office or call (517) 264-7120 by May 1, 2026. 

Please note:  

• The Registrar’s Office will not mail documents to a SHU campus mailbox.  

• With the impending closure, the Registrar’s Office will not be able to reorder a replacement diploma if the mailing address is incorrect.  

• Diplomas do not specify the program area in which they are earned. Diplomas issued will display the degree earned and will not include major or minor information.
