These agreements undergo rigorous review: All deliberate speed and action are occurring. Several teach-out agreements have been finalized (see above) and more will be added when available.
What universities support the teach-out path?
Once we have finalized the teach-out agreements, we will share this information. These agreements are subject to review by attorneys and accreditation agencies, so they will take some time.
If a student takes the transfer pathway now and a teach-out agreement is finalized with that school after, can the transfer pathway be honored as a teach-out agreement?
It will depend on the terms of the teach-out agreement.
Are teach-out agreements just for this upcoming academic year, or can a junior student finish out this 25-26 year at Siena Heights and then take a teach-out agreement at an available school?
A student can remain at SHU for this academic year, and as teach-out agreements are reviewed and finalized, students can then pursue one of them for the following academic year.
What happens to students that have scholarships in a sport?
Each institution will work with Siena Heights students and their families about matters pertaining to athletics and any financial aid support. As a result, each institution’s approach to both will vary.
