We are on the forefront of teaching and learning with technology. The faculty is dedicated to exposing our students to the leading edge of technology. Regular use of modern learning technology, from state-of-the-art hand-held calculators to Smart technology to Computer Algebra Systems, assists our students with the exploration and visualization of concepts in courses at all levels.

Besides engaging our students with modern hardware and software, we are preparing our future teachers of mathematics to use these tools in their own classrooms.

A degree in Applied Mathematics/Actuarial Science adds up in a variety of ways. There are courses such as calculus, probability and statistics and linear algebra, with computer science, engineering science and actuarial science options.

Graduates experience high placement rates in graduate schools and competitive accounting jobs. The program prepares students for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exams.
