A reminder to all SHU dial-up internet users.  Our dial up Internet Service Provider occasionally  performs system maintenance, usually between  4am and 6am.  Always be prepared for brief outages during that time.

We  filter and restrict all network traffic, including Peer to Peer traffic (such as Limewire, Kazaa and Ares).  It is a matter of protecting our network as well as one of ethics.  Feel free to discuss this with the network manager.
