How do I change my password for the Windows, My Siena, and e-mail accounts?

To change your password for these accounts, you need to log into the Siena Network.  Once into the network, use the following key combination: Ctrl, Alt, Del.  This will bring up the Windows Security dialog box.  For additional information on changing your password using Windows, click here.  In this dialog box, click the Change Password button and follow the directions.  It is also possible to change the password using the Outlook Web Access e-mail package.  For information on how to accomplish this, click here.

I am a new employee.  How do I get my e-mail and network accounts set up?

The first step in getting a new network and/or e-mail account set up is to make sure all the paper work has been completed through the Human Resources Office.  After this is completed your account should be setup within the next hour..

How much storage space do I have on the Siena Network?

At the present time, there isn't any limitation on the amount of space that faculty, staff, and students have for storing documents on the network.  However, it is a good idea for everyone to be considerate of the limitation of the server and delete any  documents that are no longer needed.

How much space do I have for my e-mail account?

As a student, you are limited to 10 megabytes of memory for your Siena e-mail account.  When you reach this limit on the system, you will receive a message saying that your mail box is full.  At that point you will not be able to send or receive e-mail, making it necessary to delete items from the Deleted Items or Inbox folder. A limit on the Siena e-mail account has not been set for faculty and staff.

How do I change my e-mail address?

To change your e-mail address, you need to go to the Siena Heights University Web site.  In that site you need to click the My Siena link at the top of the Siena home page.  Information on how an e-mail address can be changed is available by clicking here.
