John D. Wittersheim teaches metalsmithing, sculpture and occasionally ceramics. He has exhibited his metalwork nationally and internationally. He has been teaching at Siena Heights since 1979.

My teaching philosophy is based on skill development, research and the principles of life long learning. This philosophy is rooted in the continual investigation into the interconnectedness of ideas.
