Alumni travel is back! SHU alumni and friends have two itineraries to choose from for 2014:
• Departing May 14: 12 days in France and Spain
traveling with SHU Professor of Theater Doug Miller ’74 and Siena students
Spring in Paris & Provence, Barcelona & Madrid
From Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and all the romance of the City of Light, head to Avignon, Nimes and Carcassonne in Provence. Soak up the culture of Barcelona, capital of Catalonia, then take in the excitement of Madrid. Three nights each in Paris and Barcelona. Two nights each in Avignon and Madrid. Veteran SHU tour leader Doug Miller leads an expedition that includes history, fashion, art and architecture. Optional excursions to Versailles and Toledo.

Autumn in Tuscany — Rome, Siena & Florence
See the Vatican, St. Peter’s Square and the ruins of the Ancient Rome. Explore Siena, the beautiful city that gives our University its name; visit the Piazza del Campo and walk in the footsteps of Saint Catherine of the family Benincasa. Journey on to Florence, “cradle of the Italian Renaissance.” Three nights each in Rome and Siena; two nights in Florence. Your travel companions include our 10th president, Sister Peg Albert, and SHU Trustees.
