Siena Heights University is organizing a faculty-led trip to Ireland from May 15-26, 2013. SHU Professor of Theater Doug Miller will lead the heritage tour, which includes stops in Killarney, Belfast, Cork and Dublin. Witness the legacies of saints, writers and the revolutionaries of the Irish War of Independence. Travelers will also see the Blarney Castle and the Book of Kells at Trinity College, as well as take a walking tour that focuses on the 1916 Rebellion.
Cost starts at $3,400 per person and includes round-trip airfare, land transportation, hotel accommodations, light breakfast and select meals, full-time tour director and sightseeing tours to special attractions. This trip is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.
