Children in grades 1-12 are invited to participate in Siena Heights University’s Creative Stages Program from Sept. 10-Nov. 29.
Creative Stages teachers include professional teaching artists as well as Siena Heights University students.
Drama classes run from 4:15-5:15 p.m. each week. Students in grades 1-3 will have creative dramatics class Mondays, students in grades 4-6 will have advanced creative dramatics class on Tuesdays and students in grades 7-12 will have a young actor’s workshop Thursdays. Students have the opportunity to participate in a Siena Youth Theater mainstage production. NOTE: Children must have paid registrations for fall 2012 in order to audition for the winter stage production and for winter 2013 to perform in the stage production.
New this fall will be the additions of Siena Teen Acapelicans for grades 7-12 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. each Thursday and Youth Choir for grades 4-6 (4:15-5:15 p.m.) and 7-12 (5:30-6:30 p.m.) each Tuesday. All will be conducted in Performing Arts Center on the SHU campus.
Cost is $85 per child for dramatics and young actors, $65 for acapelicans and youth choir. There are also private lessons available for voice, piano and guitar.
