The Snow Queen and the Firebird

World Premiere of Family Friendly Play Feb. 5-7

Theatre Siena at Siena Heights University presents the world premiere of “The Snow Queen and the Firebird,” Feb. 5-7 in Francoeur Theater.

This family friendly play performed by the Creative Stages child drama program draws from the well-known Hans Christian Anderson story and the Russian folktale of a magical bird. Adventure, danger, humor and fantasy provide the setting for some challenging issues:

·         Does wanting something desperately mean that you deserve it?

·         Does the “fair” in Fairy Tale work the same way in real life?

·         How do I make the right choices?

Written and directed by SHU Associate Professor of Theatre and Creative Stages Director Kerry Graves, join the talented actors of the Creative Stages Program in this imaginative journey to other worlds where the challenges of life are strangely familiar.

Curtain times are at 7 p.m. Feb 5 and Feb. 6 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 7. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $6 for students.
