Women's Soccer Repeats as WHAC Champs

19th-Ranked Saints Play at Northwood Nov. 21 in NAIA National Tournament Opener

The SHU women's soccer team claimed its second consecutive Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference championship Nov. 14 with a convincing 3-0 win against Aquinas. The Saints (15-2-3), who have allowed just six goals all season, are currrently ranked 19th in the nation and will advance to the NAIA national tournament.

NAIA First Round

No. 19 SHU vs. No. 13 Northwood

1 p.m. Saturday

West Palm Beach, Fla.

 

No. 19 Siena Heights (15-2-3) will play at No. 13 Northwood University at 1 p.m. Saturday in the opening round of the NAIA national tournament.

 

Northwood (13-5), located in West Palm Beach, Fla., was the champion of the Sun Conference in the regular season and was upset in the championship game of the conference tournament. 

 

Saturday’s winner will advance to the round of 16 from Nov. 30-Dec. 5 at the final site in Decatur, Ala.
