The Social Work program has a dynamic faculty with lengthy professional social work careers that consist of experiences in domestic and international practice, teaching, and research. Current faculty are involved in service to communities and professional organizations locally and globally. Faculty members have earned doctorates and MSW degrees from CSWE accredited programs from highly recognized institutions of higher learning. They are committed to provide high standards of teaching and professionalism to facilitate student learning and success in serving communities in a variety of settings. Graduates of this BSW program have gone on to become leaders in their communities and many have obtained MSW degrees from the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Eastern Michigan University, Loyola University (Chicago), and Barry University (Miami) to name a few.
