“One thing students should remember when they are considering Siena Heights and considering a career in accounting is that the accounting field has so many different, diverse types of careers from being very much involved in the corporate field to doing taxes or accounting out of your house. Therefore, it's very important from the very beginning to look at what you would like to do and how to get there. That's what Siena faculty really tries to focus on. We look at more than just the classroom, looking externally to determine all you should do to accomplish those long-term goals while bringing our own personal experiences to bear. All of our faculty members have done a whole lot more than just take classes and teach. We've been very involved in the profession.”
