SHU Youth Symphony to Perform Dec. 2

Orchestra to Perform Works of Tschaikowsky, Liszt and Hardiman

The Siena Heights University Youth Symphony, under the direction of conductor Linda Deatrick, will present its first concert of the 2008-09 season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Francoeur Theatre.

The orchestra is composed of young music students from middle school through college age from four counties in southeastern Michigan and northwestern Ohio.

The orchestra will perform works of Tschaikowsky, Liszt and Hardiman.

The public is invited. Tickets are available at the door the night of the performance.
