November 2006 Scholarship Spotlight

Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P., Endowed Scholarship

Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P.,

Endowed Scholarship

The Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P., Endowed Scholarship was set up by the Cusick Family to honor the life and memory of Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P. As an Adrian Dominican Sister, Sister Jean led an extraordinary life.

A unique feature of this scholarship is that each year, winners are asked to read her biography in the “Book of Life” at the Adrian Dominican Motherhouse. This provides students an opportunity to learn about their scholarship’s namesake while honoring Sister Jean’s memory.

The endowed scholarship helps support Siena Heights University students who exhibit financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5, while remaining in good standing.

Those who would like to contribute to the Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P., Endowed Scholarship can contact the Advancement Office at 1-800-693-0506 or donate online by visiting our secure webpage at http://www.sienahts.edu/GivingToSiena.aspx . Please make sure to designate your gift to the Sister Jean Cecile Hunt, O.P., Endowed Scholarship.
