THEATRE SIENA PRESENTS "TARTUFFE"

Classic Comedy Runs Nov. 2-4 in Francoeur Theatre at Siena Heights University

ADRIAN, Mich. – Theatre Siena is presenting the classic comedy “Tartuffe,” Thursday-Saturday in the Francoeur Theatre on the campus of Siena Heights University.tartuffe.jpg

The comedy by Moliere tells a scathingly funny tale of religious hypocrisy, romantic tangles, and family discord. When first produced for the court of Louis XIV, the play was banned for its controversial content. Beneath the play’s farcical situations and witty dialogue lie questions and challenges.

The show is directed by Siena Heights Associate Professor of Theatre and Speech Communication Kerry Graves.

Curtain times are at 8 p.m. each evening, with tickets $7 for the general public, $5 for students.
