Theater, Art Departments Offering European Travel Opportunities

Trips to Tuscany and London Planned for Spring Break 2009

Siena Heights University is offering a choice of two exciting and enriching European travel and educational opportunities in 2009 for its students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.

Discover Tuscany!

Siena Heights and Studio Angelico, in partnership with Collette Vacations, invite you to travel to Italy for spring break Feb. 26-March 7, 2009. Join SHU alumni and students as we explore the art, culture, history, landscape—and the storied food and wine—of Tuscany, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and homeland of St. Catherine of Siena. Cost of the Tuscany trip is $2,569 per person, double occupancy, and includes roundtrip air from Detroit. A $250 deposit is requested by Sept. 26.

City Stay: London

The SHU Theater Department, in conjunction with Education First College Study Tours, is also offering an eight-day adventure to London, England, from Feb. 26-March 5, 2009. Check out the historic sites of   England’s legendary capital as well as to Windsor, which is the retreat for the Royal Family. Cost of the London trip is $2,153 for students, $2,418 for adults, including roundtrip air from Detroit. A deposit of $450 is needed by Sept. 1.

Each of these trips will culturally enrich those who participate, and will provide a well-rounded travel experience. For more information on either of these trips, contact the SHU Alumni Office at 517-264-7143 or email alumni@sienaheights.edu.
