C. Patrick Palmer was recently appointed Vice President of Enrollment Management at Siena Heights University.
Palmer, who is currently the Dean of the Graduate College, replaces Frank Hribar, who is leaving Siena Heights to take a similar position at Kettering University in Flint, Mich.
“Frank has done such a wonderful job for all of us here at Siena and he will be deeply missed,” said SHU President Sister Peg Albert, OP, PhD. “However, Pat has a wealth of experience. I have great confidence that Siena’s enrollment, financial aid and registrar offices will continue on with their great work under Pat’s new leadership.”
“I look forward to the opportunity to facilitate the growth of the university,” Palmer said. “Frank has established a wonderful team in admissions, financial aid and registration offices. I look forward to working with those areas to increase the university’s enrollment.”
Palmer, who will continue to be the Dean of the Graduate College with additional assistance, has prior experience in enrollment management while at Jackson Community College. He also was a coach, athletic director, faculty member and advisor at Siena Heights. He also was a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces division during the Vietnam War.
Palmer, and his wife, Carliene, reside in Tecumseh, Mich.
