CNN Photojournalist to Lead Mission Featuring Mother Teresa

"Come and See: A Photojournalist's Journey into the World of Mother Teresa" Scheduled from March 9-11 at SHU; Free and Open to the Public

A Lenawee Regional Mission featuring CNN photojournalist Linda Schaefer’s experiences with Mother Teresa is scheduled from March 9-11 in Lumen Ecclesiae Chapel on the campus of Siena Heights University. The mission’s topic is “Come and See: A Photojournalist’s Journey into the World of Mother Teresa.”

 

Schaefer will share her journey and personal experience alongside Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity. The program begins at 7 p.m. each day and is free and open to the public. Program topics will include “Responding to the Call” on March 9, “Finding our own Calcutta” March 10 and “The Joy of Gratitude and Compassion” March 11.

 

Schaefer will also be available to sign copies her book during the mission. Proceeds of book will benefit Catholic Charities of Lenawee County.
