West African Group to Perform Jan. 14

Like Drum and Dance Raises Cultural Awareness and the Ideals of Community and Unity

A traditional West African drum and dance group, Like Water Drum and Dance, will perform at 9 p.m. Jan. 14 in the Ledwidge ballroom.

The group raises African and world cultural awareness, social consciousness, as well as the ideals of unity and community.

The event is sponsored by Student Activities, and is free and open to the public.
