Event designed to show off Siena’s Art Department and bring together, celebrate and stimulate the creativity of high school art teachers and students

The Siena Heights University Art Department will host Promising Artist Day Nov. 2 in Studio Angelico.

 

The event is a day of workshops designed to show off Siena’s Art Department and bring together, celebrate and stimulate the creativity of high school art teachers and students. Workshops include drawing, digital art, watercolor, photography, ceramics, sculpture and portfolio review.

 

The day begins with registration at 10 a.m. After the workshops, prospective students will have the opportunity to inspect the art facilities and meet and interact with Siena’s art faculty. There is a $10 charge to cover lunch, workshop supplies and honorariums for professional artists to teach addi­tional workshops.
