Theatre Siena Opens Its 2007-08 Season

Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” Scheduled from Oct. 4-6 in Francoeur Theatre

Theatre Siena kicks off its 2007-08 season with one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, “Macbeth,” scheduled from Oct. 4-6 in Francoeur Theatre on the campus of Siena Heights University.

Directed by SHU Associate Professor of Theatre Kerry Graves, “Macbeth” weaves a dynamic tale of vaulting ambition, supernatural prophecies, murder and madness. Set in a period of violent political struggle, it explores questions of trust, allegiance, love versus personal gain, desire for power and the driving force of fear.

Curtain times are at 8 p.m. each day, and tickets are $7 for general admission, $5 for students, the Siena community and seniors. For more information, call 517-264-7840 or visit the web site
