10/24/2009-Saints fall at Madonna

The Siena Heights Men’s Soccer team lost at Madonna Saturday afternoon 3-0.  The loss hampers their playoff hopes, but does not diminish them.  The Saints have to hope that Madonna loses their last two games, while the Saints win their final game at Davenport.

As for today’s game, the Crusaders scored at the 15 and 28 minute mark of the first half.  Then in the second half the Saints tried to rally as they threw 11 shots at the Crusaders net.  However, none of them found the back of the net and Madonna added one more insurance goal in the 51st minute.

Siena Heights’ next action will be on the 31st when they travel to Davenport.
