“I want to help my students become knowledgeable, productive scientists. This means more than just teaching them a set of interconnected facts. My goal is to place this material in a larger context that emphasizes not only the beauty and creativity of science, but also stresses the ethical dimensions that all scientific endeavors require. I hope that when my students are ready to leave Siena Heights, they are prepared to live meaningful lives, and have successful and exciting scientific careers.”
