About the Program

The Campus Ministry Scholars (CMS) Program prepares leaders for church and society, leaders who are theologically grounded, community-minded and religiously committed. CMS participants will be offered an annual scholarship of up to $3,000. This scholarship is renewable so long as requirements are met and can be combined with other scholarships. For consideration, please complete the following steps:

• Apply for Admission and be admitted to Siena Heights University

• Complete this online application, including a 300-word essay profiling your desire and ability to serve, lead and contribute to the growth of the Siena Heights faith community

• Complete and email (Word document or PDF) or mail the following:

  • 1. A letter of recommendation from your pastor, youth minister or campus minister to attest to your faith commitment, your involvement in a faith community and your potential for leadership.

  • 2. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or academic counselor who can attest to your desire and ability for this program.
