Social Work Alumni Panel

When: March 22 2013 5:30 PM

Where: Rueckert Auditorium

March is National Social Work Month. This year’s theme, “Weaving Threads of Resilience and Advocacy,” speaks to the varied strengths of those individuals who continue to persevere despite personal and systematic barriers. The theme also reflects the distinguished history of the social work profession that challenges systems of inequities and advocates for change at all levels. Join SHU in celebrating and recognizing the profession of social work. The second annual SHU SWK Alumni Event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22 in Rueckert Auditorium. An alumni panel will discuss the diverse opportunities in the social work field and how social workers make a difference. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
