McNair Research Symposium

The McNair Scholars Program would like to invite the Siena community to attend the Annual Research Symposium Wednesday, Feb. 27 in Dominican Hall. SHU and Adrian College junior and senior scholars will showcase their research projects. The poster exhibition will begin at 3 p.m. in the Dominican Hall atrium, and the senior scholars oral presentations will begin at 4 p.m. in Rueckert Auditorium. The presentations include:

·         Joseph Lemanski: “Effects of BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill on Benthic Macrofauna Communities”

·         Kristy Link: “Left vs. Right Brain: Which One is Better in Identifying Facial Emotions?”

·         Margaret Morrison: “Comparing Timber Availability Under Alternative Conservation” Scenarios in Michigan’s Two Hearted River Watershed

·         Olivia Smith: “Increasing the Reproductive Fitness of Captive Bridled White Eyes (Zosterops conspicillatus) From Zero”

·         Branson Williams II: “The Internet and Increased Opportunities to Enter the Music Industry”
