Approximately 1/3 of students are selected for a random process called verification. This means the University is required to obtain copies of the prior year’s federal tax returns for the student and parents (unless the student is defined as independent by FASFA Guidelines). Additionally you must complete a verification worksheet which is available online or thru the Office of Student Financial Services. If you are chosen for verification you will be notified. Please return requested items immediately as your award will not be completed until verification is completed.
