Alumni and Friends: Travel with SHU to Ireland!
May 15-26, 2013
Spend 12 days immersed in the history and culture of Ireland, traveling the Emerald Isle with Siena Heights students and faculty.
SHU Professor Doug Miller and the expert guides of EF College Study Tours will lead this expedition to Killarney, Cork, Dublin and Belfast—and many stops in between. Witness the legacies of saints, writers and the revolutionaries of the Irish War of Independence. See the Book of Kells at Trinity College, walk the streets of the 1916 Rebellion, and climb on the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Try Guinness stew and visit the Bushmills Distillery.
Nicely paced trip includes two nights each in Killarney and Cork; three nights each in Dublin and Belfast. Trip fee of $3,696 includes round-trip airfare, land transportation, accommodations, breakfast daily plus five dinners, guides, and museum admissions.
Learn more about this Siena Heights travel opportunity at one of two informational meetings planned for 4:30 and 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Francoeur Theater.
