Award Name Amount Description & Criteria
Pell Grant Up to $5550 The Federal government selects eligible students and determines the amount of each recipient’s grant.
Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG) $200 - $4,000 The Federal government funds this program but Siena selects recipients and determines the amount of each grant.
College Work Study $1,780 The Federal government funds this program and Siena Heights selects recipients with financial need. The student is employed on campus, paid minimum wage, and works up to 8 hours per week.
Stafford Loan (Subsidized & Unsubsidized) Variable Amounts based on need and grade level This loan program features a fixed interest rate of 6.8%. Subsidized loans are need-based; unsubsidized loans may be given to no-need students. Annual loan limits will vary for undergraduates, contingent on class level.
PLUS Loan Variable Amounts This loan is available to the parent(s) of dependent students who are listed on the FAFSA form. Approved applicants may borrow variable amounts with a fixed interest rate of 7.9%. This loan is NOT based on financial need.
