Intended for educators with experience and/or interest in elementary-level (K-sixth grade) teaching, this program leads to an M.A. (36 credits) and/or an Elementary ZG endorsement (21 credits) that can be added to an existing Michigan teaching certificate with successful completion of the appropriate Michigan Test for Teacher Certification and any directed teaching deemed necessary. Teacher certification is required for admission to this program. Individuals interested in earning initial teacher certification should consult our undergraduate Teacher Education program.
