The Capstone Experience – Working with faculty mentors, students conduct meaningful field and/or lab research with data analysis. Siena Heights University biology students have won eighteen research awards in the past fifteen years. Siena biology graduates have a 95% acceptance rate into medical, chiropractic, podiatric, veterinary, and graduate school. Furthermore, the percentage of Siena Heights University biology graduates who go on to earn an advanced degree (M.D., D.O., Ph.D., M.S., D.P.M., D.V.M., etc) is significantly higher than the national average (33% versus 23%). |
